Hi Nancy,
I'm mailing to you on behalf of exdec in Finland and would like to send the following message to Ken Olsen. For some reason I did not find any other better address for sending this so if you could kindly forward this message to Ken. I understand that the CD you were making needed these messages a lot earlier. We apologize for the late respons.

Espoo, Finland, 16 June 2006
Hi Ken,
Exdec in Finland wants to remember you on 17 June 2006 when Gordon College Science Center will be named to honour you and your devoted work in ICT business. The spirit created at Digital has been carried on in the hearts of Finnish Digital employees who remember the time at Digital a very rewarding period in many respects. Even today some new ideas coming to business life and corporate culture are the kind that Digital invented over 20 years ago, at least many of us in Finland feel so as the dejavu experience is sometimes in the air.
Exdec is an inofficial society where all Digital employees in Finland belong, someone has counted that through the years 1972-1998 almost 1000 employees have worked for Digital in Finland. And since exdec was founded in 1998, twice a year around 100 ex-Digital employees - exdecs - gather together to meet each other and have a good time with the people they enjoyed working at Digital. Not to mention those smaller teams who meet on more regular basis. The connection to the values, corporate culture and spirit, way of working, from Digital days still exists, although the form of them have developed during the years when people have moved on.
We wish you continuous success in your life!
On behalf of exdec in Finland
Eija-Liisa Hiltunen-Nordström
Digital employee during 1985-1998 at Communications
